2000 Ruby AMD Athlon XP 1900 PC

Originally built in the year 2000, this pc will be celebrating its 25th birthday this year and it still works.
Although it had a motherboard swap in 2005 this is a beige beauty of the millenium.

40GB Maxtor slimline IDE HDD
Creative CD ROM drive
Floppy Disk drive
Onboard graphics, sound and LAN
Addition 10\100 LAN card
Steel case with plastic front.
 
When it was first supplied it had Windows 2000 on it. This was upgraded to Windows XP in 2002. Then for reasons that I cannot remember WIndows Server 2003 R2 was installed on it. Takes a while to get to the log on screen but once loaded runs quite well. Would benefit a downgrade to Windows XP.
The steel case has marks, signs of age and the plastic front has yellowed.
 
BUT it is a 25 year old fully functioning pc. Being steel it is heavier than a modern pc but ideal for a retro computing experience.
