1967 Corgi 337 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Custom - This model was available between 1967 and 1969. This example still has its original decals, but the paintwork has faded (Original colour still visible on the base) and the whole car has play wear.
 
Based on an earlier Corgi Sting Ray (310) – which was issued in 1963 – this exuberant re-tooling from 1967 grabbed the attention of British schoolboys by the scruff of their necks and transported them to the drag racing strips of North America. Dripping in chrome exhausts and engine trumpets, with loud ‘in your face’ graphics and a bright yellow livery, Corgi 337 was a harbinger of things to come.
